A conference to reimagine the international order
The Kuala Lumpur Conference on a New, Just and Humane International Order brought together political leaders, policymakers, thinkers and civil society voices to reimagine a global system grounded in justice, equality, solidarity and human dignity.
Convened with Third World Network, the conference featured leading international voices including Jeremy Corbyn.
WHY IT EXISTS
Making the imbalances in the global system visible
The rules shaping our world do not always serve it equally. From conflict and unequal trade to debt, climate and access to technology, many global challenges reflect deeper imbalances in power and whose interests shape international decisions.
The conference creates space to bring these inequalities into the light and ask what a fairer international order could look like.
HOW IT WORKS
From critique to alternatives
Through keynotes, panels and cross-border dialogue, participants examine major global challenges through different perspectives — from international law and trade to debt, climate, technology and global governance.
The aim is to move from critique to alternatives, connecting ideas and people who can carry the conversation into policy, institutions and wider movements.
